IBM CDO Format 1

Day One

On the first morning (Nov 14th) the conference will kick off hearing from IBM’s Global Chief Data Officer, Inderpal Bhandari as to the latest developments in the CDO world, as well as new use cases for his Cognitive Blueprint. Inderpal will be joined by another senior IBM Executive (tbc). This will set the scene for the opening keynote panel which will tackle the question of how to succeed in the cognitive era.

After a coffee break, we will break into smaller, highly interactive discussion groups, with 4 sessions running concurrently to allowing you to participant in the conversations most relevant to your organization’s priorities. After the first two sets of discussion groups, we will break for lunch & networking, before returning for a further two sets of breakouts. Attendees are free to roam across tracks, so tailor your agenda to suit your interests perfectly!

We will then enjoy some afternoon refreshments and more networking, before returning for the final plenary sessions of the day. The first day will conclude with another opportunity to get to know your peers in a relaxed environment during our drinks reception.

IBM CDO Format 3

Day Two

Day two will begin a roundtable breakfast discussion exploring ‘Diversity in Data’. Following this, the always popular morning presentation will inform you of the latest research relevant to CDOs, CAOs and other senior data leaders coming out of IBM’s Institute for Business Value research centre.

After this, you will enjoy a morning of liveable keynote panel discussions, with some of the biggest names in the data & analytics community offering their opinions and sharing their experiences on some of the most pertinent questions we all face.

The event will conclude at lunchtime, with a boxed lunch being provided to all. You are very welcome to stay and continue your discussions, but also have the option to take this with you for your onward travel, or if you need to get back to the office.

Session Formats:

Keynote Presentation: 30-60 minutes. Speakers will present, with time set aside at the end for Q&A from the audience .

Keynote Panel: 45 minutes. Following brief introductions, Moderator and Panelists engage in a discussion for 20-25 minutes, with the remainder of the session assigned to audience Q&A and discussion.

Discussion Group: 45 minutes. Co-Chairs open discussions by sharing their initial thoughts on a topic for a few minutes each. This is followed by facilitated open discussion between Co-Chairs and Attendees, with a high degree of interactivity.

Networking Breakfast: 60 minutes. This open networking session is available for all delegates to come together to discuss the importance of diversity in data. The session will begin promptly, so please register and grab breakfast beforehand.
