IBM Chief Data Officer Summit, San Francisco

10th Anniversary Edition

June 24-25, 2019

IBM CDO Format 1

What to Expect?

The IBM CDO Summit is built specifically with you in mind, and is exclusively open to CDOs, CAOs, and other senior data executives. It truly is ‘for data leaders, by data leaders’. For all who qualify to join us, attendance is complimentary.

Focusing exclusively on your role & seniority, we tailor the event specifically to your needs. Expect to meet 120+ of your C-suite Data & Analytics leadership peers, rather than being ‘lost in the crowd’ at events with 1000s of attendees.

Given the caliber of attendees, we prioritize genuine interaction between the whole group. With just one presentation each morning to share the latest developments in the CDO world, there is no ‘death by powerpoint’, and no sales pitches. Instead we use a range of highly interactive, discussed-based formats so you can benefit from the wisdom of all in attendance, as well as network with them.

IBM CDO Format 2

Maximum Return for Minimum Time Investment

Your time out of the office is precious, so our events are fast and high intensity, lasting just 1.5 days.

Tailor the agenda to your needs by selecting between up to 4 tracks of concurrent discussions to ensure every session is relevant. You will interact with as many peers as possible, all of whom share your interest in the specific issue.

You will return to the office with new insights directly applicable to your organization, and a refined data strategy for the next 6 months.

Celebrate our 10th Anniversary

This event is very special indeed, as it marks our 10th edition of the summit, making this the longest running event of its kind, and certainly not one to miss.

To celebrate 'the most influential gathering of CDOs anywhere' turning 10, we are adding exciting new formats, sharing new stories, as well as bringing updates on the journeys of CDO alumni.

Unique Interactive Session Formats:

Keynote Presentation: 60 minutes. Speakers will present, with time set aside at the end for Q&A from the audience. Limited to one presentation each morning.

Keynote Panel: 45 minutes. Following brief introductions, Moderator and Panelists engage in a discussion for 20-25 minutes, with the remainder of the session assigned to audience Q&A and discussion.

Discussion Group: 45 minutes. Co-Chairs open discussions by sharing their initial thoughts on a topic for a few minutes each. This is followed by facilitated open discussion between Co-Chairs and Attendees, with a high degree of interactivity.

Speed Networking: 30 minutes. Break the ice during the first networking break by opting to take part in a series of lightning one-to-one meetings with your peers. A great opportunity to quickly meet several other data leaders, and identify those with whom you share common interests.

Working Industry Lunch: 60 minutes. An opportunity for conversations with data leaders from your own industry. There will be a choice of tables dedicated to selected industries for sector-specific discussions, as well as open tables for cross-sector networking. Grab your lunch and take your pick of table!

Networking Breakfast: 45 minutes. At the start of day two, this open networking session is available for all delegates to come together to discuss the importance of diversity in data.
